Origin of Low Brow Kit 1/24 1/25

Origin of Low Brow Kit 1/24 1/25

100% backed and supported by George Webber himself.

Yabba Dabba Cool!

This kit is based on the painting by artist George Webber.

Important: The kit will be sent with a closed top. If you prefer the open top, please reach out to us immediately after placing your order.

This is being offered in 1/25-ish scale. Keep in mind that these are cartoon characters.
Please see picture of how it compares in size to the Revell 1929 Model A kit.

Note: This kit is not for beginners. It will require some sanding and modifications to make it all fit together perfectly. Heels on Wilma figure are extremely thin. Be prepared to replace them. Piece will not be replaced for broken heels. Fred's right arm does not line up perfectly with the steering wheel. It may need some adjustment/filling at the shoulder joint or steering wheel will need to be moved over. It is normal for the covered top to have small nicks or tears that represent wear & tear. You can also choose the open top instead so you can use tissue, paper towel, or any other fabric of your choice to use instead.

If you are not familiar with resin, please research before purchasing. These are not for beginners. As with all resin, this will need some work like sanding smooth, cleaning flash, evening out surfaces, filling pinholes, reshaping, and/or fabricating parts. With the heat that occurs during shipping, some parts may slightly warp. Be prepared to reshape using the hot/cold water method. Resin color may vary from pictures. Color may not match all parts. Assembly instructions are not included. Please use pictures for reference.

The Great Gazoo would be pleased!

Received my kit a few days ago and no damage to any pieces. They're not kidding about the alignment of his arms to the steering wheel. I got mine to fit just right. For me, I was determined to get his right hand completely on the steering wheel. It worked, everything will fit if you take your time and do as they suggest, look at the photos on the site. Everything about Wilma is delicate so be careful.
What I did was use a slow-drying epoxy glue for both arms. His right was barely glued. I then used two-part epoxy putty and filled in the gap. I also filled in the gap on his left forearm to the car frame. I then aligned his right hand into the streeting wheel. Once everything was set, I left it to dry overnight. That part fit good. For me, he wasn't sitting perfectly in the seat so I added another type of softer two-part putty to his lower back and fitted it in before it dried. While doing this I broke his sunglasses on his right side that I previously glued to his head so a bit more advice for you there.
Again, I like to fuss about making sure figures are actually holding what they're supposed to hold, sit into, etc. so I took longer on this than most would do but, in the end, Yabba Dabba Do! Fred sits in his souped up wood and stone rod very nicely. I bought the Bedrock sign too to go with this little vignette that I hopefully will finish over the winter. Ok, Iceman, you started something here, now I challenge you to get Barney and Betty in the same motif and make them a companion piece to this. Highly recommended!

Fun and Fantastic Low Brow Kit!

First ever resin kit, just have to take a little extra time I'd guess. Can't wait to get underway.
Pkg in good order, one roof support broken upon receipt but a glue repair should do the trick!

Stop thinking about it and go for it!

I ordered one and it arrived in just over a week, not bad for international post at all. The parts were in multiple bags, each wrapped in bubble wrap, in a stout cardboard box, which was then placed in another box that was a tight fit. With the exception of a leg on pre finished the roof that was broken, everything survived the journey perfectly.

The finish on the parts was excellent and it looks like it will be a great wee kit to put together, when I find some more reference material of the original in the cartoons.

Id have no problem recommending this kit, and the service I received to others.
