1948 Tucker Torpedo Resin Kit 1/25 by Red Wheel Models

Upon opening the box, I was very pleased at how well the kit was packaged to prevent damage.
Looking through the parts, I was even more pleased to see the amazing detail and quality of the parts. The instructions are very detailed and include information about the paint codes for the real cars to aid in painting the model. Overall, it looks to be a very enjoyable build that will yield a highly detailed model.
I also purchased the 1948 Cadillac. It is equally as nice as the Tucker. With the quality of these two kits, I eagerly look forward to more offerings from Red Wheel and The Iceman ! Many thanks to Iceman for all of your great products !

First off, I missed purchasing this great model during the first wave. I was sad for hearing about this model after it sold out, however, I was ecstatic when I found out they were doing another wave. Thanks for a second chance! I’m so happy!
It’s amazing to see that with much care and thought, and including a lot of time and effort that was invested for such an important historical vehicle to come to life in our modeling world. I once had a friend who worked for Revell/Monogram and told him way back when (late 1990’s) that the Tucker should be made into modeling kit as an entirely new tooling. As you can see, that never happened until ICEMAN and the talent associated with ICEMAN collections and Red Wheel Models did what was never thought to be produced in a such highly detailed model. I also have the Model Haus version of the Tucker, however, nice for its time; there really is no comparison. I am so happy to say thank you for what ICEMAN collections did. I just can’t say enough. The detail and thought behind this model is awesome. Well executed and not only was thought put into the creation of the plastic parts, but there are beautiful photo etched model parts, well crafted water slide decals, wonderfully crafted and easy to follow model instructions for assembly and this model being created with the thought process that entirely puts the modeler first and what a model should be. Absolutely superb! I can’t wait to build this incredible collection of wonderful engineering found in one model box. Thank you to ICEMAN and Red Wheel Models.
